Useful keyboard shortcuts - part 1

Are you sometimes tired of clicking every link with the mouse? Would you like to use a keyboard shortcut instead? Sometimes your mouse could fail and you will have no choice than to navigate with the keyboard alone. It’s not easy, but it’s also not that difficult if you know your way around the basic shortcuts.
Knowing Windows shortcuts will save you time and you’ll always have an alternative to the mouse. By the time you find a link or the right menu item, you can already select what you need with one or two key presses.
I have selected some shortcuts that I think will be useful to know:
- Windows Logo key or CTRL+ESC = open Start Menu
- Windows Logo+R = open Run window
- Windows Logo+M = minimize all
- Windows Logo+D = display Desktop
- Windows Logo+E = opens Windows Explorer
- Windows Logo+F = find/search files or folders
- Windows Logo+C = open Control Panel
- Windows Logo+L = log off
- Windows Logo+K = open keyboard properties
- Windows Logo+I = open mouse properties
- Windows Logo+S = caps lock on/off
- CTRL+ALT+DEL = open Task Manager
- CTRL+A = select all
- CTRL+C = copy
- CTRL+V = paste
- CTRL+X = cut
- CTRL+Z = undo
- CTRL+Y = redo
- CTRL+B = bold
- CTRL+U = underline
- CTRL+I = Italic
Note: The plus (+) sign in the left column signifies that two or more keys are pressed at the same time. Do not press the + key on the keyboard!
