How to delete your facebook account

One of my friends recently decided he doesn’t want to be a facebook member any more and he looked for solutions to permanently delete his profile and account. It wasn’t hard to find one through a basic search in Google, but I also know that some people are having difficulties finding an easy-to-follow solution that permanently deletes everything.

I thought I’d share the quick version with my readers, now that I know how it’s done.

First, click on this link and then click on the Submit button. As the text above the button says, you will have to deactivate your account for two weeks, and if you don’t access your account within those two weeks, it will be permanently deleted by the facebook administration staff.

Once you click on Submit, you will have to confirm that the account is yours by filling out some security forms (which only takes a few seconds) and follow the instructions. It’s really easy and quick.

When you submit the request, don’t forget you cannot access your facebook profile for two full weeks, otherwise your account won’t be deleted.
