I had a very similar problem on my Toshiba Satellite A300. For me the most suspicious driver was the Synaptics Pointing Device. I tried to run verifier.exe to observe this driver, but it crashed my whole system. So I upgraded it from version 10.xx.xx to 14.xx.xx and BSOD disappeared (for now).

Sadly on Toshiba website there was no info and no drivers for Synaptics - I had to identify the problem on my own.

To be honest, I'm not sure. But every time this has happened to me, it was caused by the wrong date and time. I have to test more programs with dates far in the future and then maybe update this post. Thanks for the question.

What an odd little bug...Nice to see it has such an easy fix, however. Is this problem across all antivirus programs? Because, I have not run into anything like this yet, and I don't think a smart Av would rely on your PC's time setting for something so crucial..

I have some great solutions to help deal with a slow Windows 7 logon. It’s just a matter of changing your background to a solid color. Or if you are in a geeky mood you can do a little hacking, which will prevent the long wait for Windows 7 to start up. If you want to know how you exactly can improve your logon speed, check out this blog post— http://bit.ly/dfc7op

Great use of the tool - you get to shop and save money where you're not supposed to :)Thanks for the tip on malware scanning. I'll have to do some more tests with Ultrasurf.

there`s just a lil problem, malware identify as an HackTool or Trojan.Agent .
